Despite only featuring sporadically in the Premier League for Sheffield United this season, Sharp fired the Blades to the top flight with 23 goals last campaign, and he could be exactly the type of player Celtic need to sign in January.
The veteran striker is a proven goalscorer, something the Hoops need as backup for Odsonne Edouard.
And although he’d likely be a short-term replacement at 33-years-old, signing Sharp could be a smart piece of business from Celtic.
