Motherwell have identified the three Celtic players they believe could pose a threat when the two sides meet at Fir Park later this week.

In an ‘Opposition Report’ article published on their official website, ‘Well named Odsonne Edouard, Leigh Griffiths and Christopher Jullien as three players who will play a vital role for the Hoops on Wednesday.

First up is Jullien, who they describe as a player who has earned “rave reviews” since signing for the club in the summer, and they also identified his ability to score important goals at crucial times for the Hoops.

Unsurprisingly the other two players are Griffiths and Eddy, with ‘Well describing the former as “one of the most natural goal scorers in the country,” while the latter is labelled “a player that continually demonstrates a killer instinct in front of goal.”

Seeing Motherwell name the aforementioned trio as the key men for Celtic is hardly surprising in my view, given how important all three have been since the return from the winter break.

Do you think those three players will be Celtic's key men on Wednesday?

Jullien popped up with his sixth goal of the season with another vital strike on Sunday, while Griffiths and Eddy have notched up eight goals between them already in 2020 (Transfermarkt).

However Motherwell represent Celtic’s toughest test of 2020 so far in my view, given how they are currently in third place in the league, and the trio will need to produce another impressive performance to maintain their winning run this year.
