A number of Celtic supporters have praised Patryk Klimala after the 21-year-old scored for the Reserves in a 4-1 win over Hibernian.
The Hoops named an incredibly strong starting lineup for the SPFL semi-final clash on Monday, with Hatem Abd Elhamed, Klimala and Ismaila Soro all starting at Lennoxtown.
Elhamed had an early chance to give the Reserves the lead but saw his effort saved, before Luca Connell did open the scoring just before the 20 minute mark with a deflected effort.
Karamoko Dembele made it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time with a strike that crashed in off the underside of the bar.
January arrival Klimala then added a third six minutes into the second-half with a chipped effort, before Dembele completed the scoring just a minute after Hibs had pulled one back.
Following Klimala’s goal, a number of supporters have reacted on social media, with one even calling for him to start in the Scottish Cup quarter-final against St Johnstone this weekend.
