Celtic fans react to Mark Schwarzer’s comments about Tom Rogic
Mark Schwarzer has provoked a reaction from a number of Celtic supporters following his comments about Tom Rogic.
The former Premier League goalkeeper was speaking on Optus Sport’s Two Sharp Reds Podcast when he made the suggestion that Rogic wasn’t being tested to the best of his ability at Celtic.
Australia’s most capped international continued to suggest that a move away to a league like the Bundesliga would benefit the 27-year-old more than playing for the Hoops.
Schwarzer then claimed that joining mid-table team in Germany would allow Rogic to test himself against far better opposition than what he faces in Scotland.
Rogic has featured sporadically so far this season, making 18 appearances in all competitions, with 10 coming as a substitute (Transfermarkt).
The midfielder has only completed 90 minutes on three occasions thus far (Transfermarkt), with his last full game coming back in October in the 4-0 win over Aberdeen.
Following Schwarzer’s comments, these Celtic fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on what the former goalkeeper had to say.
