Despite some recent reports to the contrary, Celtic’s Marian Shved will not be re-joining his former club Karpaty Lviv on loan this summer, as per a report in The Glasgow Times.
Shved has found game time very tough to come by under Neil Lennon and as such, there has been some speculation about his future at the club.
There had been talk that he could go back to his former club on loan for the 2020/21 season but a source close to the player has told The Glasgow Times that the player would have no interest in making such a move.
The source says that Shved would want to move to a higher level of club than the Ukrainians, with the Glasgow Times suggesting that there are clubs in Belgium and Germany showing an interest in the player.

For whatever reason, Neil Lennon has hardly given Shved a chance and if the manager has decided that the player simply isn’t for him, then Celtic should look to move him on as there’s no point paying a wage to a player who isn’t going to play games.
If that is the case, then Celtic should look for a sale rather than a loan, if that is at all possible.
The alternative view is that Lennon should give the player another chance to prove himself, but given that he just led Celtic to two trophies, the manager has earned the right to pick, and not pick, whoever he likes in his team.
