Celtic have shown an interest in signing Ajax winger Noa Lang, according to a report from Goal.
Ajax’s academy is world-famous for producing some of the greatest talents in football and in Lang, they have brought through another player from a young age who is now playing top-flight football.
The 21-year-old is spent part of last season on loan with FC Twente, but the Dutch season, much like the Scottish season, was ended early due to the pandemic, so he perhaps didn’t get as much game time as he would have liked.

Given his talent and his versatility – he can play on either wing or upfront – it makes sense to see Celtic interested in Lang, especially as he’s in the final year of his deal at Ajax, and thus, he could be available at a favourable price.
Celtic already have plenty of options on the wing and up front but given his age and profile, a move for the 21-year-old may not be the worst idea for The Hoops.
