Celtic knock £5m off Olivier Ntcham’s summer asking price
Celtic are thought to be willing to cash in on Olivier Ntcham this month.
According to Football Insider, the Hoops have given the Frenchman the green light to seek a transfer this month.
Southampton West Brom, Lyon and Marseille have all been in pursuit of the 24-year-old, and Celtic have now slashed their asking price for the midfielder.
They were thought to be after £12m over the summer but are now willing to listen to offers in the region of £7m, according to Football Insider’s report on Wednesday morning.

Several Celtic supporters were happy for Ntcham to leave Parkhead after a recent report this month, so they could be delighted at this further update.
Yes, the Hoops have almost halved their asking price, but receiving £7m for a player who has just 18 months left on his deal could still be a good piece of business, considering he’s fallen out of favour at Celtic Park.
Do you think Celtic will receive £7m for Ntcham this month?
Yes
No
Ntcham’s last Scottish Premiership start came at the end of October, with the Frenchman featuring in just 28 minutes of league action since then.
He doesn’t appear to be in Neil Lennon’s long-term plans, and in today’s current market, a fee over double his Transfermarkt valuation could be a shrewd move.
