Celtic fans discuss Villas-Boas as possible Lennon replacement

Several Celtic fans have been discussing the possibility of former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas becoming Neil Lennon’s potential replacement.

Villas-Boas, 43, is currently the manager of Ligue 1 club Marseille, however, his future in France appears to be up in the air.

According to French outlet Telefoot, relayed by reporter Robin Bairner on social media, Marseille have approached former Borussia Dortmund and Nice boss, Lucien Favre, over the possibility of replacing Villas-Boas.

Bairner posted that the Portuguese boss is under pressure at The Stade Velodrome and has hinted he does not wish to renew his current contract, which expires at the end of the season.

Marseille currently sit sixth in Ligue 1 after winning just one of their last six league games, with Villas-Boas linked with Celtic before taking charge of the French club in May 2019.
