The Ibrox fans have created this hilarious conspiracy theory that Celtic used shadow contracts for all the players they acquired from Man City…
You’ve got to admire the tenacity of the Ibrox fans to try and completely alter the narrative around their liquidation and the parallels to what’s happening at Manchester City at the moment.
When it emerged that City were in serious trouble last week, the fate of Rangers 1872 began to find it’s way back into the media.
They were labeled the ‘benchmark’ when it came to industrial cheating in the British game.
For Ibrox fans, it re-opened up a conversation on something they want dead and buried.
And when a conversation like that is re-opened, the klanbase becomes very, very, very, very cross.
The first offence option is to attack Celtic with the CSA cases, this is their default angle of attack once the spotlight is shone on them.
If one single Celtic fan opens their mouth about industrial cheating, they are immediately labeled a paedophile, or an enabler of child abuse.
As if every single Celtic fan was complicit in what went on at the Celtic boys club during the 1970’s
Once again, and to be clear, I am and always will be sickened by what happened at Celtic during that period.
However, as a married man, with a family of three children, I take severe offence at being labeled as a paedophile for supporting the club I support by Ibrox fans.
If it is designed to enrage me, it works.
But it’s not the label that enrages me, it is the way in which it is used.
Because not one single Ibrox fan who uses it cares a jot for the victims of child abuse.
Not at Celtic, and certainly not at their own club.
Ironically, I, on the other hand care deeply about it.
When I think of what went on at Celtic, it drives me into a deep, dark place, and makes me think about what I’d want to do to someone if they laid a hand on one of my children.
Those thoughts bring out something feral in me.
So, when I see Ibrox fans weaponising child abuse to deflect from their own deficiencies as a club, yes, it enrages me.
But I can’t dwell on it for too long, and I’m not going to do that either today.
I just needed to get my point across on that particular subject
It’s a pathetic line of deflection at this point, and as sure as night turns into day, they will continue to use it at every opportunity.
Rather than get drawn into it, I just have to accept it.
What I want to focus on in this article is the other lines of deflection they’re using at the moment.
While the first one is pretty dark and sinister, the other ones are downright hilarious.
On Thursday, I did an article on the fact that they’re desperate to shine the spotlight on Dermot Desmond for his dodgy tax dealings.
I thought this was comical.
In fact, so comical, that I begged them to dig as deep as they possibly could in the hopes we might get rid of Desmond as a result
Wishful thinking on my behalf.
The main driver behind all of these hairbrained schemes to bring Celtic down is a hun X account called ScunneredBaw.
Can a Celtic fan step up to the plate here and point out how Rangers apparently cheated due to using tax havens & tax incentives (deemed to be okay at the time)
— ScunneredBaw (@raskinrangers72) October 1, 2026
But Dermot Desmond (proven tax dodger) funding Celtic transfers isn’t cheating?
Look forward to the answer. pic.twitter.com/DPwaTMMPMI
It’s kind of funny to think that they ran themselves into the ground trying to emulate our European Cup win.
But what’s even funnier is their pathetic need to be better than us in everything, and failing miserably at it.
The roles have reversed though.
Now they desperately want us to be better at being deid than them.
So they’re thinking up of novel ways to make us deid.
The latest one is the best though.
If City are going down, Celtic are going down with them
This has got to be seen to be believed, so I’ll indulge you.
— Joseph Black MBE (Ri Uliad Rex Ultoniae) (@pzj1801) September 29, 2026
Now, I’ve had a few scrambles with ‘Joe Black’ before now, I’ve even written articles about his bullshit in the past.
Joe Black, and plenty of others allege that Celtic may have benefited from concealed financial arrangements or “shadow contracts” – specifically, that City secretly subsidised player wages or provided unrecorded financial perks during their player loan deals.
The theory feeds on Celtic’s real, documented informal working relationship with the City Football Group.
Celtic has hired former CFG staff, such as recruitment chief Mark Lawwell and former manager Ange Postecoglou, and has signed roughly 10 players on loan from City over the past decade.
Ibrox fans argue the relationship warrants closer investigation by football authorities, which is hilarious.
It’s a desperate attempt to shine a spotlight at absolutely nothing.
Celtic fans and independent fan media have heavily debunked all of these ridiculous claims.
In fact, it’s what I’m doing right now, again.
Millions of investigated documents have yielded zero public evidence linking Celtic to City’s actual financial rule breaches.
Yet the Ibrox fans continue to push this fantasy
It’s actually pathetic.
So, when you look at the pattern of deflection since the whole Manchester City story hit the news, what do you get?
Let’s hit them first with the child abuse weapon, the ultimate and trusty goto.
Then we hit them with Dermot Desmond’s dodgy tax dealings.
Finally, the coup de grace.
They’re up to their eyeballs in sinister “shadow contracts” with Manchester City.
But you know what the funniest thing in all of this is?
All of this is going to lead to the square root of f*** all.
Nothing.
This is the epitome of ranting into the void.
It’s a genuinely pathetic and desperate attempt to try and make Celtic deid
Just like their old ‘ happy and glorious’ club.
They think that because they’ve beaten us twice in a week, that we’re in our death throes.
They think that they have us down now, and that all they need to do is keep their foot on our throat.
While I recognise we’re not in a good place at the moment, you write Celtic off at your peril.
Because unlike them, we will NEVER let our club die.
Nor will we stand idly by and allow some despot billionaire dictator to run it into the ground.
The walls are closing in on the people who feel Celtic is theirs to destroy.
And the wheels are already in motion to ensure it doesn’t happen.
It will all come to a head sooner or later.
There’s a reckoning coming.
You’d better believe it.

Most of this week has been a very odd week press and tv news about the huns,,it’s been v,v,v quiet on that front,,,this man city stuff has and will continue to shine a light where they would rather not to be,,,and the most stupid thing (i think) the prats they were reeling out to distance themselves from it are the very people that benefited from it,,u couldn’t make it up,
When historic abuse is mentioned they seem to forget their own kind ,it’s the old club that it happened with nothing to do with the rangers new club, jock Wallace and Walter knew about it,funny how it’s never remembered by the zombies
They are as dead as a dead thing can be
Murray,Souness,McCoist ,SMSM can say relegation until they are blue in the face everyone knows it was Liqidation
The only time they acknowledged that is when it comes to doing the right thing to their paedophiles victims then it is not their club ‘s responsibility but the dead club’s
Same with paying their debtors
