Aodhán Ó Conchobhair started writing in 2025. A lifelong Celtic supporter, now living in London after graduating from Strathclyde University in 2024.
Before getting into writing, Aidan worked as a talent ID academy scout with Hibernian, where he managed their London network, covering age groups from U15 through to U21 level. That role had him regularly watching youth football, tracking development, and helping identify players who could make the step up into professional environments. It gave him a strong grounding in how clubs actually operate behind the scenes when it comes to recruitment and academy pathways.
In 2025, he moved into writing and quickly began contributing to Celtic-focused fan media. His articles have featured in both The Celtic Way and The Celtic Cynic, where he’s built a reputation for informed analytical pieces.
