Following his first appearance for Celtic, Carlton Cole is hungry for more after having a hand in the third goal at the weekend.
The former West Ham and Chelsea striker came off the bench on the 61st minute of the Hoops game at the weekend against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Celtic won the game 3-1 but they didn’t have it all their own way and substitutes Scott Allan and Cole came off the bench to help Ronny Deila’s men remain unbeaten in the league since September 12th.
The 32-year-old striker signed back in October but had to wait to make his first appearance due to a training ground injury.
Nevertheless, the time he has spent on the sidelines has helped him get to know his team mates better and is paying dividends.

As quoted by the Daily Record, Cole did admit he wasn’t as sharp as he wanted to be but he is moving in the right direction.
When I went out there I didn’t feel on-point. But I felt if I made a nuisance of myself I could help the team. The boys played brilliantly but I didn’t feel sharp as it was my first game since May 24.
I was happy to be part of the victory and to claim what was, admittedly, not the best of goals.
You haven’t seen the real Carlton Cole yet as I haven’t played in such a long time. I was just happy to be on the field, cause some problems and provide a bit of presence up front.
Cole also set out his plan of action on how to have a bigger impact for Celtic in the coming weeks and months.
I’ll have to work on my fitness and I need to get on the field more often and ensure I perform better than I did on Sunday.
I know what I need to work on – my headers, my power and being more aggressive. It will all come when I get fitter and I can work on these aspects in training.
