Christian Gamboa: I will decide my future after the World Cup
Celtic full-back Christian Gamboa has revealed that he will consider his future once the World Cup has finished, according to the Daily Record.
The Costa Rican international has struggled for minutes under Brendan Rodgers this season, making just three appearances over the whole title-winning campaign.
The 28-year old appears to have three men ahead of him in the pecking order, first choice right back Mikael Lustig, converted winger James Forrest and January signing Jack Hendry.
Gamboa has admitted that he now has to consider whether his future still lies at Parkhead:
I always tried to give my best at Celtic, but they have made their decision and the manager decided he didn’t want to use me at all this season, I need to look at the situation after the World Cup.
The former West Brom man never really established himself in Glasgow, making just 24 appearances for the Green and Whites since joining in 2016.
