Celtic prepared to sell Olivier Ntcham for £7m
Celtic are reportedly preparing to sell unsettled midfielder Olivier Ntcham for £7m this summer, with FC Porto the frontrunners to sign the player.
According to Football Insider, the Hoops are willing to allow the Frenchman to leave Celtic Park, but won’t receive any offers close to their £14m valuation for the midfielder.
The Portuguese giants, who were linked with a move for the player in January, are likely to bid half of Celtic’s £14m valuation this summer.
The midfielder has made 36 appearances for the club this season, scoring six times, but has fallen out of favour at Celtic Park following an injury.
Ntcham joined the club from Manchester City for £4.5m in 2017, so it appears as if the Hoops will be making a profit on the player over the summer.
Celtic will more than likely invest the funds received for Ntcham back into the first-team squad, with the Hoops desperate for defensive and attacking reinforcements ahead of next season.
