Lennon expecting “difficult” St Mirren test tonight
Celtic manager Neil Lennon has admitted that he is expecting a “difficult” test against St Mirren tonight.
The Hoops host St Mirren at Celtic Park later today in the Scottish Premiership, with Lennon hoping his side can continue their good run of form.
Celtic currently sit at the top of the league table, with only goal difference separating themselves and arch-rivals Rangers.
As quoted on the official club website, Lennon said:
They’re not cut adrift, as although they’re not scoring many, they’re not conceding many either. They are well-organised and they try to play.
They try and make it as difficult as possible for you. We have our own targets in terms of playing at home, making life very difficult for the opposition and we want that momentum that we’ve picked up the last few games to carry on tonight.
We expect the game to be difficult as we expect St Mirren to fight and we have to be ready for it.
Will tonight be a difficult test for the Hoops?

On paper, it should be a routine victory for Lennon’s men. They’re a different force when playing at home and every player is bursting with confidence right now.
Do you think Celtic will score 3 or more goals tonight?
Yes
No
The visitors are third to last in the table and are likely to sit very deep and wait for an opportunity to counter.
Anthing but a victory tonight will be a huge disappointment for the Hoops.
