Leigh Griffiths’ son has mocked Rangers in a brilliant and lovely message to his dad, posted online by his girlfriend.
The Celtic striker confirmed his return to fitness after a spell on the sidelines since September with a thigh problem and a virus, meaning he missed Saturday’s League Cup semi-final win over Hibernian.
However following his recovery, his son posted a brilliant message urging his dad to do the “take the L” celebration against Rangers if he scores because they are “losers,” Sportslens report.
To dad from Rhys.
Dad I hope you start playing in Celtic I hope you play in the final.
I hope you score one and if you do score a goal for your celebration do take the L for losers for Rangers. They are already losers.
Love Rhys. Love you lots dad.

Griffiths’ son’s message is certainly a lovely and humorous one, and it would be brilliant to see the striker take the advice and do the celebration if indeed he does feature and score against Rangers in the League Cup final.
The 29-year-old has not featured since the 3-1 win against Hearts in August, but has looked sharp when given the chance this season.
Griff will now be hoping he gets the chance to make a positive impact against Lazio on Thursday, in what is a hugely important tie for both sides.
