Celtic are reportedly set to agree a deal with Adidas which would see the sportswear company manufacture the Hoops’ kits for next season.

The club’s current deal with New Balance is set to expire next summer and rumours have been growing online suggesting Celtic were set to switch to Adidas in the future.

And that now looks to have been confirmed, as the reliable Footy Headlines reveal that Celtic will sign a deal with Adidas, though no official announcement has been made.

We [Footy Headlines] know that the New Balance Celtic deal will end after the season and now a Celtic Park insider has confirmed to us that the club will sign with the three-stripe brand next season.

This is a hugely exciting step for the club, as Celtic have never had a kit manufactured by Adidas before in their history.

Do you want Adidas to become Celtic's next kit manufacturer?

The Hoops have previously donned kits made by Umbro, Nike and most recently New Balance.

The report does suggest that there is a very “small chance” New Balance could retain Celtic’s services however, as the club are yet to officially confirm the deal.
