Neil Lennon has revealed how much Marian Shved has impressed him during Celtic’s trip to Dubai during the winter break.
The winger has had next to no game time this season having made just two substitute appearances thus far, but according to the Daily Mail, Lennon believes Shved now has an excellent opportunity to “explode” onto the scene following a successful trip to Dubai.
He’s doing good. He’s training well. He’s looking lively and has been a wee bit of a bonus this week. It’s an opportunity to just explode onto it. He’s looked very healthy and I’ve been pleased with him.
It’s not easy for guys to adapt sometimes, especially if family is not there as well. He’s a bit of a slow burner, but he’s still young and I’ve really liked what I have seen of him. He’s been good.

Lennon’s comments are hugely positive for Shved, as his apparent hard work in Dubai looks to have paid off with the Celtic boss singling him out for praise.
I’ve certainly been eager to see more of the winger, especially after his bright performance against Nomme Kalju on his debut back in July, and a number of Celtic fans appear to feel the same.
The 22-year-old could now have an excellent chance when Celtic return to domestic action following the break, especially with Scott Sinclair having left the club and Lewis Morgan closing in on his move away.
And this weekend’s Scottish Cup clash with Partick Thistle could be the perfect chance for Lennon to hand the winger with his first start in a Celtic shirt.
