Transfer interest in Victor Wanyama appears to be increasing as AC Milan enter the race to sign him.
That’s according to the Daily Record, who claim the Seire A giants are interested in signing the midfielder this month.
Norwich City and Aston Villa are also both said to be “keeping tabs” on the Kenya international, after he failed to complete a £13million move to Club Brugge last summer.
Furthermore Turkish outlet Tavkim reported earlier this week that Galatasaray were set to have a “critical meeting” with Tottenham over a move, while Neil Lennon has also expressed a desire to re-sign the midfielder.

Prior to the January window, Big Vic was a player we were certainly keen to see return to Parkhead and after Lennon’s comments about wanting to re-sign him, it was a move we thought could happen.
However with Ismaila Soro looking set to arrive following his successful medical, we now feel as though there is little point in signing the Kenya international.
We are delighted today to announce that midfielder Ismaila Soro has successfully completed a medical ahead of his proposed transfer to #CelticFC.

Although Lennon switched to a 3-5-2 formation against Killie on Wednesday and therefore played with three central midfielders, it’s likely he will return to a 4-2-3-1 when everyone is fit and available, given how that formation he has predominantly used this season.
And the likes of Ryan Christie, Callum McGregor and Scott Brown are all likely to be regular starters, with Soro, Nir Bitton and Olivier Ntcham as options on the bench.
Therefore signing Wanyama appears to make little sense in our view, as he is unlikely to feature week in week out and a player we no longer need following Soro’s arrival.
