Celtic will not be allowing Kristoffer Ajer to leave for a cheap fee if clubs make a move for him this summer, and that is an excellent stance to see the Hoops take.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, AC Milan have Ajer down as their main target for the summer, as he shares similar qualities to both Simon Kjaer and Mateo Musacchio, whose respective futures at the club are in doubt.
And the report also states how Celtic will not allow the Serie A giants to prise him away for a discounted fee.

Calciomercato do not state how much Celtic value Ajer at currently, but even so, it’s excellent to see the Hoops outline how he will not be sold for a small fee.
The Daily Record have previously cited Tuttosport as claiming Celtic value Ajer in the region of £27 million, which could be an excellent price for the Hoops to hold out for if that is true.
Not only would it represent a small increase on the record fee received for Kieran Tierney last summer, but it would also see the trend of those record fees continuing to go up.
Tierney’s deal broke the record set by Moussa Dembele’s £19m move to Lyon, which eclipsed the previous figure set by Virgil van Dijk’s move to Southampton.
Furthermore, that figure could please a lot of Celtic fans, considering how many believe the Hoops should command a figure between £10m-£20m for the 21-year-old.
A fee in that region is certainly plausible given his age, ability and the fact he still has two years remaining on his current deal with the club. The fact that the likes of Milan and Tottenham have also shown an interest could also bump his price up further.
