Celtic and rivals Rangers have shown an interest in Queens Park Rangers star Bright Osayi-Samuel in recent months.Â
Both Scottish giants are thought to be interested in the 22-year-old in a pre-contract agreement in the New Year.Â
Reports in recent days suggested that the player had rejected improved terms in London, with the player left out of the squad completely in the midweek defeat to Barnsley. Â
However, QPR boss Mark Warburton has now thrown a spanner in the works.Â
Talking to West London Sport, cited by London Football News, Warburton has now claimed that talks over a new deal for the winger are ‘moving the right way’.
The contract talks are moving the right way.Â

Warburton’s comments, in our opinion, will come as a blow to Celtic officials.Â
Osayi-Samuel’s direct approach and ability to beat a man with ease is something that appears to be missing at Parkhead.Â
The wide man averaged just under three successful dribbles per game over the last two seasons, and still just 22 years of age, has plenty of time to improve on his already impressive game.Â
He netted five times and provided eight assists in the second-tier last season, the most productive campaign of his short career to date.
However, by the sounds of it, The Hoops may not have a chance to discuss pre-contract terms come January, should contract talks end in a positive way for the Championship side.
