Celtic fans react to club’s post on Ajer and Elyounoussi

Celtic posted on Twitter late on Tuesday evening regarding Kristoffer Ajer and Mohamed Elyounoussi’s availability, and that official post went down a treat with several Hoops supporters.

The pair were both away on international duty with Norway, however, the national break was hampered due to full-back Omar Elabdellaoui returning a positive test. 

That had left Ajer and Elyounoussi’s availability against Hibernian this weekend in doubt due to self-isolation protocols.

However, the club has now confirmed that the duo are able to continue training with the Hoops squad and take part in matches.

Celtic released the news on social media, and it didn’t take long for a section of fans to reply to the post.

The news will come as a huge boost to Neil Lennon.

Ajer has featured in every league fixture this season, while Elyounoussi has only missed one. The latter netted a hat-trick prior to the international break, and Lennon could do with the forward’s fine form continuing over the coming months.
