Celtic fans react as Albian Ajeti charge ‘not proved’

Celtic’s Albian Ajeti won’t be banned after a diving charge against Kilmarnock was ‘not proved’. 

And, as to be expected, the positive update had plenty of Hoops supporters talking on social media.

The Hoops immediately appealed the decision after the Scottish FA charged the Swiss striker with simulation following his collision with Colin Doyle at Rugby Park.

A verdict was reached on Tuesday, meaning the 23-year-old won’t be suspended for two games and is available to face St Mirren this evening.

Ajeti has started the last two league games under Neil Lennon, netting his sixth goal for the club in the win at Kilmarnock last week. He’s now in line to make his ninth Premiership start of the campaign following the ‘not proved’ decision.

The reliable Raman Bhardwaj was one of the first to share the news regarding Ajeti on social media.
