Celtic are reportedly eyeing up a summer move for Burnley’s Robbie Brady.
That’s according to the Daily Mirror, who suggested that the Irishman has emerged as a target for the Hoops, with the 29-year-old’s Turf Moor deal set to expire in the summer.
Brady, who can play at left-back, left midfield or right midfield, has made 18 appearances under Sean Dyche this season. He has been with the Clarets for four years following a big-money move from Norwich City and has made 86 appearances for the Lancashire club since then.

The 54-cap Republic of Ireland international is reportedlt earning £35,000-a-week, so if he wants a similar salary at Parkhead, he could become the club’s highest earner ahead of Scott Brown, who reportedly picks up £25,000 per week.
To us, a deal for Brady may not represent good value for money, even if the Hoops can land him on a free transfer. Mainly plying his trade on the wing, he has been involved in just 15 goals at Turf Moor in his 86 appearances, scoring six times and providing nine assists.
Should Neil Lennon use him as a winger, a permanent deal for Mohamed Elyounoussi could be a better option, with a £5m price tag being touted recently.
He has been involved in 32 Celtic goals in his 55 Hoops appearances, scoring 20 times and registering 12 assists [Transfermarkt], a discernibly better return than Brady.
