The 19-year-old has been on Celtic’s radar throughout the closing stages of the window, but this latest development moves the deal beyond interest and negotiations.
According to Dutch reporting, PSV have now received an offer from Celtic and the transfer is being described as “imminent”.
That represents genuine progress.

He is a 19 year old development player. There is no way he is walking into Celtics midfield. It is strange that we haven’t heard of this ‘interest’ before now(or should I say until after Wednesday) and seems to me that this is yet another last stage of the transfer window panic buy from Nicholson in an attempt to appease the, quite rightly, disgruntled fans.
