I'm 52 years old and from Coatbridge, and Celtic has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Supporting the club isn't just a hobby for me – it's part of who I am.
My first visit to Celtic Park came in 1985 against St Mirren, and from that day I was hooked. Like so many supporters of my generation, I grew up idolising Paul McStay. His loyalty, class and ability made him my favourite player, and he remains the player who best represents what Celtic means to me.
The Centenary Season will always hold a special place in my heart. Watching Billy McNeill lead the club to that unforgettable league title is a memory I'll never forget, and it's still the benchmark for what Celtic should strive to be.
Through this site I write as a supporter first and foremost. I'll praise the club when praise is deserved, but I won't shy away from questioning decisions or expressing concerns when I believe standards have slipped. My aim is to offer honest opinions, thoughtful analysis and passionate discussion on everything happening at Celtic.
Whether it's transfer news, match analysis, or the bigger issues surrounding the club, I write from the perspective of someone who has lived and breathed Celtic for over four decades.
