Leigh Griffiths has praised the impact Patrick Roberts made in the closing stages of Celtic’s 3-0 win on Saturday.
The Manchester City winger signed for Celtic on an 18-month loan and impressed during his two appearances for the development squad.
After scoring three goals and providing three assists in the youth side, the 19-year-old made his first-team debut against Inverness and was involved in a finely worked third goal along with Ryan Christie and Scott Allan.
As quoted by the Glasgow Evening Times, the 25-year-old striker hailed the youngster for his immediate impact off the bench.
Griffiths said:
He looked very, very dangerous when he came on. He is very direct and wants to get past people. He will be a big, big signing for us.

Griffiths bagged his 31st and 32nd goal of the season as Celtic won comprehensively in the end and moved six points clear at the top of the table.
Having become the fastest player to score 50 goals for Celtic earlier this season against Dundee United, the Scottish international is targeting another record.
Griffiths would need 12 goals in his remaining 12 league games, but given his current form he could break the current record of 35 league goals held by Henrik Larsson and Brian McClair.
If I can beat the [Premier Division] record, I would be a happy, happy guy. It would be massive.
Henrik Larsson is the best striker who has played for this club. To be up there with the likes of him, Chris Sutton and John Hartson is great, but I want to make a name for myself.
The only way I can do that is by playing well and scoring goals. Every time I go on the park, I am confident I will score goals.
We will see what happens in the future but it would be great if people were to say here comes the record goalscorer.

All the talk about Aberdeen’s title challenge isn’t fazing Griffiths either, who recalls Celtic being faced with a similar scenario just 12-months ago.
They clawed it back last season and we sort of steamrollered them a bit after that.
Aberdeen can talk, but it is about what we do. I have said if we do our business on the pitch then we will be champions at the end of the season.
Celtic are in action again on Friday night away to Hamilton Academical with the chance to go nine points clear of the Dons who play on Saturday.
