Fans vote on the formation Celtic should play

The results are in after fans voted on which formation they wanted to see Ronny Deila use at Celtic.

Over the course of this season, Deila and his backroom team have tinkered around with formations and styles and at times, it has cost the team in vital games. Therefore, we decided to give the fans the option to pick a formation which they think best suits the Hoops.

Fans had a variety of different formations to choose from, ranging from past systems used by the likes of Martin O’Neill and Neil Lennon and new modern styles which are more continental and bettered suited to Europe.

The score of each formation is calculated by the percentage of duels they had won. We have also added a possible starting XI for each formation based on the current players available and analysed the strengths and weaknesses of the top five.

So, here are the top five formations fans wanted to see Celtic play.
