Celtic are reportedly expected to complete a deal to take Borussia Dortmund defender Jeremy Toljan on loan “in the coming hours”.
However, unlike Celtic’s other recent loan moves, this deal is reported to include a clause that will allow the Scottish champions to sign the German on a permanent deal in the summer if they so wish.
Brendan Rodgers had been keen to bring in a new right-back, with age beginning to catch up with Mikael Lustig, who is out of contract in the summer.

The Hoops have scouted Toljan and see him as somebody who could add extra quality in that area.
The 24-year-old is out of favour at Dortmund, failing to make a single start under Lucien Favre this season, as they top the Bundesliga.
It looks like the German will now join Celtic on loan and if he impresses, he has the chance to earn a permanent deal in the summer.
