Lyon eye summer move to sign Edouard – can the Hoops keep him?
Ligue 1 side Lyon are being linked with a summer move to sign Odsonne Edouard.
As reported by the Guardian, the French outfit are ready to return to Scotland after previously signing Moussa Dembele from the Hoops.
It is claimed that they will watch the striker closely throughout the course of the season before making a move – so what does this mean for Celtic and is a summer exit for Edouard avoidable?

These claims come just days after reports linked the striker with a late-summer move to AS Monaco.
Lyon, an ambitious club looking to get back to their best in Ligue 1, would be a much better move for Edouard, where he would also link up with Dembele once again. However, from a Celtic perspective, can a summer exit really be avoided?
The reality is Edouard’s future may depend on how well the Hoops perform under Lennon this season.
If they can go on to win another league title, they have the lure of 10-in-a-row and club-legend status dangling in front of every player in the squad.
Keeping the striker won’t be easy, with Lyon able to offer him a route back to his home country, Champoins League football and of course improved wages.
Do you think Edouard will leave Celtic next summer?
Yes
No
If they do want to keep hold of the likes of Edouard, their ambitions need to match his on and off the pitch.
Trophies will no doubt come, but they also need to sell the project to Edouard more than anything by investing in the squad accordingly and improving in Europe.
