Celtic fans react to impending exits of Jeremie Frimpong and Karamoko Dembele
Celtic look set to lose Jeremie Frimpong and Karamoko Dembele, according to separate reports – and several Hoops supporters aren’t happy at the update, sharing their frustrations on social media.
Neil Lennon confirmed that Frimpong is ‘abroad’ discussing a permanent switch away from Parkhead, with the destination believed to be Bayer Leverkusen.
The right-back is expected to complete a £10m-plus move to the Bundesliga, whereas fellow teenager Dembele looks set to leave in the summer.
That’s according to former Hoops player Mark Wilson, as cited by Celts Are Here, with French sides Lille and Nantes are among the sides looking to secure his services.
Dembele is out of contract at Celtic Park at the and of the season and is therefore free to talk to clubs abroad over a possible pre-contract deal.
@aboutceltic shared the transfer news regarding the duo on social media on Tuesday afternoon. The post quickly received plenty of interaction, with one Celtic supporter describing the update as ‘depressing’.
