There’s never much time goes by before somebody from the English game starts ranting on about how easy it is to manage Celtic.
Or how their Nan could score for fun in Scotland.
Or how they could stroll through the game up here and not break a sweat.
Blah, blah, blaaaaah.
Glen Johnson is at it today in the Record.
Apparently, he has inside knowledge about Ange Postecoglu that nobody else has.

Add to that, of course, that the Record are only dying for Ange to leave the Scottish game, and you have another bullshit story encouraging him to move south.
This is the opening line to the article:
Ex-England star Glen Johnson has told Ange Postecoglu that managing Celtic is “not a difficult job” as he insisted the boss will want a Premier League job like West Ham.
Oh right. So he “told” Ange that managing Celtic is not a difficult job.

I wonder when he did that?
Because if he did, I’d imagine Ange would’ve put him in his box fairly quickly with a swift line finishing with “mate”.
Yes, I’m sure he really wants to move to a Premier League job like West Ham.
To fight relegation and arse around the bottom of the table, with no realistic chance of ever winning a trophy and maybe the odd run in the Europa League or the Conference League.
Yeah, I’m sure he wants to give up the adulation of 60,000 fans and the chance to play in the Champions League again to take on a job at plucky old West Ham.
Respectfully, that’s the ideal job for Michael Beale.
He’d fit right in there, wiv all the cockney geezas.

Pulitzer prize winning journalist, Mark Pirie, who always provides the best scoops, reckons if Ange wins the treble, the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham and West Ham will come knocking on his door.
Glen Johnson has disrespectfully played down Ange’s achievements in Scotland:
Former West Ham, Chelsea and Liverpool full back Johnson has played down the achievements of Postecoglou during his time in Scottish football – insisting Postecoglou would take any approach from the Premier League “seriously”. Speaking about the prospect of the Parkhead boss replacing David Moyes, Johnson declared the Hammers would not be the right fit.
He reckons it’s a breeze to manage in the Scottish game.
He clearly doesn’t understand the pressure of managing a team where you are expected to win.
All the time.
If you don’t, well then your job doesn’t last very long.
As I’m pretty sure Michael Beale will find out to his detriment pretty soon.
But after all of that, West Ham isn’t the right fit for Ange.
So what’s the bloody point of this article then?
The Scottish game is shite and Ange will jump ship as soon as he gets the chance?
The same story we’ve heard a thousand times before.
The media in Scotland just don’t seem to get that Ange is here for the long haul.
He is building something special at Celtic Park.

We’ll get to see just how special it is when we play in Europe next season.
This whole pointless article finishes up with this garbage:
But speaking to King Casino Bonus (that most reputable of websites) he took a swipe at Scottish football – and reckons Postecoglou’s interest would be peaked by a move to the London Stadium. He said: “Ange Postecoglou shouldn’t take on the challenge of West Ham (if offered), but I’m sure he would want to.
Surely you mean his interest would be piqued by a move to the London Stadium?
Scottish churnalism at it’s best.
Finished off with a ridiculous contradiction:
Ange Postecoglu shouldn’t take on the challenge of West Ham (if offered), but I’m sure he’d want to.
For Christ’s sake, shut up!
You really do despair sometimes at the garbage that passes for journalism in Scotland.
Stealing a wage is what I’d call it.
One word “Thicko”
Should not speak about someone he does not know anything about.
We’ll never know if Johnson really said that, we all know the propensity that Scottish ‘journalist’s’ have for spinning what was actually said but if he did say something close to that it proves how stupid he is. How many players that look good in the EPL come up here and can’t hack it, Joey Barton told everyone he’d be the best player our league had ever seen and Broony soon put him in his place and he was back down the road again after about eight games with his mouth shut and his tail between his legs. It’s the arrogance of guy’s who are average footballers who think they’re good players because they earned a lot of money that baffles me. Ask Johnson to show you his medals in his career he’s won one EPL title, one FA Cup and two League Cups (I’ve verified this), our players under Ange have won more than that in two seasons so I’ll take his opinion with the pinch of salt it deserves.
