NO DEAL – another Celtic target goes by the wayside. When will we hear news about a player actually coming into the club?

So, reports in the Record this morning claim that another January Celtic target will be staying at his club.

If I’m being honest, I’m not too sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing?

Because this target was one of Wilfried Nancy’s players at Columbus Crew.

Wessam Abou Ali is a Palestinian international, and only joined the Columbus Crew this season.

Prior to that he played at Al-Ahly in Egypt.

All that aside, I’m starting to become totally disinterested in news about players who AREN’T interested in coming to Celtic.

What’s the point in talking about what could have been?

Although I’m beginning to believe the SMSM are relishing reporting on players who WON’T be coming to Celtic.

That said, its probably because they have nothing to report on incoming players?

Because that seems to be the case throughout this entire window thus far.

Its now day 14 of the transfer window, and Celtic are still no closer to signing a player than they were 14 days ago.

Meanwhile, our rivals are busy preparing to mount a serious title challenge.

The side formerly known as the worst run side in Scottish football, has in comparison to Celtic, now become a paragon of professionalism.

Yes, the Ibrox side are quietly and efficiently going about their transfer window identifying the areas that need strengthening, and getting the business done.

For those Celtic fans who are unaware that something like this is actually possible, (honestly, I’m not lying, it really is), just pay attention to what the Ibrox side and Hearts are doing.

Unlike Celtic, they are taking their title challenges seriously.

Our board instead, dithers and farts around like the incompetents they are, making less progress than a snail crossing a six lane motorway.

One would be forgiven for forgetting that this is the most important transfer window in many years for Celtic.

Because to look at the way the board is behaving throughout it, you certainly wouldn’t think it is.

Muddling Mike, Silent Mike, Teflon Mike, Invisible Mike, Mickey fuckin mouse, I honestly don’t know what to call him at this stage, is now officially the worst CEO in the history of Glasgow Celtic Football club.

There is no redemption for this clown.

Nothing he can ever do will repair the damage he has caused, and continues to cause, at Celtic.

It would appear that every other CEO of a a football club in Britain can master the basic tenets of signing football players.

Except for Michael Nicholson.

That particular avenue of expertise appears to be beyond him.

Which, in anyone’s language, means he is not fit for purpose.

Yesterday, I wrote an article about the criticism of Felipe Jota from within Celtic, and the potential wage cost for the club until he is fit to return next season.

I surmised that the reason the media, i.e. Keith Jackson, were being briefed about his “heart not being in it” when it came to his recovery, came from someone who was irritated at the fact he would have to be paid until his recovery was complete.

You know?

A bean counting accountant or a lawyer?

The only types of people who could get irritated by something like that?

But when I think of the fact that Michael Nicholson is earning £800k per year for doing the square root of fuck all, it occurred to me that those who bitched to Jackson about Jota have got some fucking brass neck.

You couldn’t mark these clown’s necks with a blowtorch.

Personally, I think it would be more constructive to get that £800 grand Nicholson earns and burn it.

Because its the same thing as paying it to him.

Everything he touches turns to ash anyway.

And its clear he’s determined to turn everything at Celtic to ash, rather than to do the decent thing and resign.

I mean, let’s be honest, he does everything his mentor taught him to do, so why doesn’t he just do the same thing as he did, and resign?

He can tell the world that we, the Celtic fans, tormented him into his resignation, can’t he?

And if he wants to do that, by all means, please do.

Tell the world that we put hurty signs on the lamp posts outside his house, and that we called him bold and nasty things at Celtic Park and in the street when we saw him.

I honestly couldn’t give a flying fuck anymore, he can tell the media we tried to burn down his house, or that we put a car bomb on his car.

He can tell them what he wants.

Nobody believes him, or his cronies any more because they’ve cried wolf so many times now.

Just do the decent thing Nicholson.

Resign, and put us all out of our misery.

Please.
