The Lanarkshire Referees Association smells blood, they firmly believe that a weakened Celtic are there for the taking.
Yet time after time, just when they think their job is done, Celtic defy the odds and pull a win out of the bag.
Ryan Lee clearly got the brief on Saturday night from his Ibrox supporting mates.
Allow Dundee away with murder and disrupt Celtic’s play as much as possible.
To say that Dundee got away with murder would be an understatement.
Not only did they get away with murder, they almost got away with a 1-0 victory and progress into the next round of the Cup too.
With seconds left on the clock, Dickinson and Dallas in the VAR room must have been wetting themselves with excitement.
Surely they had done enough?
“Red Card Ross” on the line played his part too.
It looked like mission complete.
But alas, those pesky Celtic players foiled their cunning plan….again.
With about 5 seconds remaining on the clock, up stepped debutant Junior Adamu to backheel a lovely ball from Tounekti into the back of the net.
Celtic Park erupted and I have no doubt David Dickinson and Andrew Dallas almost threw up.
They fought gamely until the end, along with Ryan Lee, to ensure Celtic were denied any advantage whatsoever.
I have no doubt when the draw for the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup was completed last night, that a few referees of certain persuasion might have gotten overly excited.
One in particular must have been jizzing his pants with excitement.
David Dickinson has been living for the day that he gets handed an O** F*** game.
Surely his time has come?
Surely it will be time for him to do his dear old Uncle down under proud?
Will it be the Cup quarter final?
Or will he get his first League derby?
David has been waiting patiently for his time to come.
He has been a good boy, passing all the required tests when he gets to referee his favourite team.
And of course, when he gets to referee games involving the team he and his family despise.

I said earlier that Ryan Lee’s remit was to ensure Dundee got away with murder.
Well, I meant it in the literal sense, because today, Kieran Tierney is lucky not to be maimed for life after the disgusting assaults that were allowed to be perpetrated on him.
Simon Murray’s tackle, if you could call it that, was a red card offence all day long.
He absolutely took Kieran Tierney out of it.
But if that wasn’t bad enough, Cameron Congreve’s assault on him was nothing short of atrocious.
Tierney is lucky not to have been maimed for life after it.
If Congreve’s kick into his face had hit his eye socket, chances are he’d be blind in one eye now, with his career over.
How does a direct kick to the face not result in a straight card?
If that is not classed endangering an opponent, I honestly don’t know what is.
How Ryan Lee did not issue a straight red defies belief.
In addition, although we clearly know why, how the hell did VAR not review it either?
I could reference the Yang sending off against Hearts, but I don’t really need to.
Everyone knows about that one.
Yang didn’t even make contact in that incident.
Don’t get me started on the push/pull bollocks and the phoney explanations for not awarding a penalty either.
Or the assault on Yang.

Every last fucking one of them was at it on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, over at Ibrox yesterday, Tav-pen scored a hat-trick, aided and abetted with his usual customary penalty.
What are the odds he’ll be in double Tav-pen figures before this season concludes?
Honestly, its getting farcical now.
