‘He is hopeless, I’ve seen enough now’, ‘New manager bounce my h***!’, ‘Worse start than Russell Martin!’ Celtic fans in hysterics as Ibrox fans round on McInnes after Jagiellonia loss
Competitive game no. 2 is a loss for Staunch Del. The natives are getting restless over Ibrox way!

It’s a tough time to be a Celtic fan at the moment.
There’s no doubting we’re all currently frustrated at the lack of signings, and the general malaise that surrounds our club.
There was a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel with the news that Haissem Hassan looks likely to sign for Celtic now.
This is a big u-turn from a couple of days ago, where it looked like Hassan had his heart set on a move to Marseille.
We’ll wait to see how that one pans out.
Then we had the concerning news about Martin O’Neill on Wednesday evening.
We still await confirmation that he’ll be in the dugout for Sunday’s trip to Rugby Park.
So overall, we don’t have much to laugh about.
Unless we look across the city, that is.
Now, we know the Ibrox side has one advantage over us for the coming season.
They have something we don’t have, and something we’re unlikely to have.
Squad depth.
The only issue thus far, is that their deep, deep squad, just cannot seem to gel.
After taking the lead last night in the first leg of their Europa League qualifier against Jagiellonia Bialystok in Poland, they ended up losing the match 2-1.
Now, under normal circumstances, you wouldn’t panic about a result like this.
Especially with a second leg at home due.
But we’re talking about Ibrox fans, and they don’t do normal circumstances.
Their patience doesn’t stretch very far.
As I pointed out last week, they were very quick to turn on Derek McInnes after their opening 1-1 draw to Dundee United.
Add a loss in Europe into the mix, and the conversation on Follow Follow becomes very interesting…
Any hint of points lost against Hibernian at the weekend, and McInnes will be treading on very thin ice over there.
The bears are not happy!

When we’re in the midst of doom and gloom at Celtic Park, we can always rely on our friends across the city to provide us with some comic relief.
What made it all the more enjoyable is that a former Celt, Yuki Kobayashi, played a blinder for the home side.
He gets it!
By 15.30 pm next Sunday, we could be 5 points clear of the Ibrox side already.
That is, of course, if we can do the business against Kilmarnock.
Big if, I know, but’s lets be positive here.
More dropped points for Del revolution would be catastrophic.
He is in danger of emulating Russell Martin very quickly if that happens!
Poor Del and his platform brogues could be found out very quickly.
And when they turn at Ibrox?
They turn very quickly.
All the staunch in the world won’t save Del if the results don’t come.
But he knows that better than anyone, doesn’t he?
