Celtic eye loan move for Barcelona’s Alex Collado
Celtic have joined the host of clubs looking to take Barcelona star Alex Collado on a season-long loan, according to The Mail (Print Edition, 23/09).
The Hoops have apparently joined a host of clubs from Germany, Italy and Spain in showing an interest in the right-winger and Barcelona are ready to let him leave on loan to get him some first-team football and also to secure a small loan fee and a contribution to his wage bill.
Getting the player to Parkhead won’t be easy though as Celta Vigo, Genoa, Hertha Berlin, Real Sociedad, Sassuolo, Stuttgart, Torino and Werder Bremen are also chasing him.

Celtic aren’t exactly flush with right-wing options so it would make sense for them to be in the market for another player who can play there, but this doesn’t look like a deal that will be easy to complete, given the competition involved.
However, Collado could well fancy a move to Celtic; a side who will play football the right way, competing for trophies and playing European football.
