Sevco fans come crawling out of the woodwork to tell Celtic fans that Stuttgart aren’t Livingston or Kilmarnock. Genius or what?

Last night, at Celtic Park, we were abysmal.

In fact everything about last night was abysmal.

For me, I will consign it to the bin.

A night to be forgotten.

If we learned anything from it, its that Kaspar Schmeichel shouldn’t be any where near a set of goal posts for the rest of this season.

But as I was looking through social media, I couldn’t help but notice the amount of Sevco fans crawling out of the woodwork to have a cut off Celtic’s performance last night.

These people definitely don’t get the definition of irony, or hypocrisy, for that matter.

They are utterly thick.

Braindead.

These are the fans of the team that finished 5th from bottom of the Europa League table.

Their team secured one win out of 8 ties, and one draw, amassing a grand total of 4 points.

These are the fans of the team that has spent £43 million on player purchases this season.

Lecturing us Celtic fans because we were knocked out by Stuttgart, the team 4th in the German Bundesliga?

The irony is off the scale.

We are the club that is in complete disarray.

We are the club that has spent the square root of fuck all on player transfers.

And we are the ones who made it to the knockout stages of the Europa League.

Yet these pricks are lecturing us?

And telling us that Stuttgart aren’t Livingston or Kilmarnock?

Fucking ingenious, don’t you think?

Do they actually think that this point is lost on us?

Especially us, the Celtic fans?

We know what this board is doing to our club.

Yet somehow, the team keeps on winning domestically in defiance of them.

We know that Livingston and Kilmarnock are a far cry from Stuttgart.

Talk about stating the fucking obvious, like.

Yet for all of their lecturing and posturing, Celtic are still right in this Scottish Premiership title race.

They think because we copped a hiding last night against Stuttgart that we’ll make for easy pickings in the upcoming League and Cup games against them.

They might be right if Kaspar Schmeichel starts between the sticks, and by the way he’s playing lately, they think that just peppering his goal with shots will beat him easily.

The reality is that that’s a very distinct possibility.

Martin O’Neill needs to examine his performance last night very closely and make the right call off the back of it.

I wrote an article earlier this week, where I said the meltdown at Ibrox would be epic if we won this title.

Based on the behaviour of the Sevco fans last night, they really think we’re there for the taking.

Have they forgotten what Martin O’Neill did to the dead club in first tenure?

He is the master of these kinds of fixtures.

A wily old campaigner, who knows exactly what it takes to win these kinds of games.

He knows better than anyone that Stuttgart weren’t Livingston or Kilmarnock.

But equally, he knows that the Ibrox side aren’t Stuttgart either.

These people tend to forget how he managed to win against them already this season.

With lesser resources than he has at his disposal right now.

In the end, its their cockiness that’ll be their downfall.

To think that its wise to lecture us about losing out to Stuttgart last night considering their abysmal performance in the Europa League?

Well, that shows us just how disconnected from reality they are over there.

They might just get smacked by reality right between the eyes over the next two weekends after this one.

Nothing would give me greater pleasure.

Then we could just re-quote everything they said last night back to them.

These peepul will never learn.

There is a time and place to gloat.

Last night certainly wasn’t it.

Then again, they’re too thick to realise that.

Which usually plays right into our hands….
