R*****rs Radio provides the ultimate hilarity for Celtic fans with “we’ve got nothing left bar the sash”, after last night’s defeat at Hearts

R*****rs Radio is the gift that keeps on giving.

Whenever the Ibrox side crashes to a defeat, especially one as seismic as last night’s, there’s always some clown that comes on to send Celtic fans into hysterics.

Last night it was an Ibrox fan called Murph.

The irony isn’t lost on me that this guy has a very Irish name, and comes on live radio crowing on about the Sash.

But you know?

As long as they still have the Sash, its all good isn’t it?

Levels and all that…

The rage levels at Ibrox are going through the roof after their capitulation in yesterday’s evening game at Tynecastle.

For them, the descent into white hot rage is a huge source of amusement for us Celtic fans.

Now, you might say that we can’t afford to laugh here because our chances of winning the title decreased substantially last night, but unlike them, we aren’t quite dead yet.

In fact, very much to the contrary, we’re still alive and kicking in this title race.

Its beginning to look more and more likely that this could go down to goal difference though.

And with Hearts having a 5 goal advantage over us, what better way to eat into that deficit by giving the Ibrox side a damn good thrashing on Sunday next?

Recently, the atmosphere has been off the scale at Celtic Park.

I would imagine Sunday will be the most boisterous it has been in quite some time.

An Ibrox hiding has been long overdue at Celtic Park.

If ever there was a time to do it, this is the time.

Hearts are showing the kind of resilience Champions are made of.

But they are missing one important factor in all of this.

This is entirely uncharted territory for them.

As for us?

We’ve been over the course many times, many times this century.

It is at this point on a few occasions where we’ve come fully alive, and in reality, what better time is there to do that than at Celtic Park next weekend?

Hearts can feel they’re getting close, its within touching distance.

They feel like they have one hand on the trophy already.

Especially after last night.

In 1986, they felt the same way.

Just saying.

This is where experience might just trump over inexperience.

The closer that trophy gets, the more Hearts’ nerves are going to jangle.

For them, it is really squeaky bum time.

The Ibrox side showed that after 10 years in the top flight, they’re still not cut out for this.

Now Hearts have to show that they are.

May the 16th could be a blockbuster day at Celtic Park.

We’re in the final countdown now.

One thing we can always rely on, though, is the Ibrox side to keep us entertained in the midst of all this.

If last night was anything to go by, the banter years will get better and better.

They really are the gift that keeps on giving.

But hey, they’ve still got the sash, haven’t they?

And they can keep it too!
