Ibrox fans in total meltdown at the appointment of a “sleekit, scheming, evil old b*****d” as Celtic manager. O’Neill has them running scared…

Well, it seems quite evident that Martin O’Neill was not the managerial appointment Ibrox fans wanted to happen at Celtic Park.

They were wishing, and hoping, and praying that it would be Robbie Keane.

That was for one reason, and one reason alone.

They wanted our club to go into total meltdown.

We’ll never know for sure how close it was to total meltdown.

But it appears somebody managed to talk sense to Dermot Desmond when it came to the potential appointment of Robbie Keane.

I’d like to meet that person because they’ve got balls, I’ll give them that.

Inadvertently, by ensuring that Martin O’Neill remains on as Celtic manager, it has sent the klanbase into meltdown.

Their displeasure in said appointment is a sight to behold.

Following from bitter Eyal Berkovic’s rant last week, many Ibrox fans believe that St. Martin the Hunskelper is evil incarnate.

I seen Celtic bosses being called many things down through the years by fruitcakes on Follow Follow, but this?

Even this is a new one for me.

The fear of Martin O’Neill runs deep with the klanbase.

In reality, he is their nemesis, the man who sowed the foundations that brought about the untimely death of the club they pretend to be.

This is why they are terrified of the prospect of him being in the Celtic dugout next season.

They know he has the measure of Danny Röhl, they know that he owned him in all of their head to heads last season.

O’Neill signing on for another year has broken them.

It’s the sort of psychological blow they were dreading.

Already they’re talking about the fact that they “huv tae win the first Old Ferim”, otherwise the season will be over already.

A ball has not yet been kicked in anger, and they’re already rattled.

It is actually comical that a 74 year pensioner can do this to them.

In addition to this, there is a rumour circulating online at the moment that “Simply the Best” will no longer be played over the tannoy at Ibrox.

Our adoption of the Tina Turner ditty has driven them over the edge.

So it will now apparently be replaced by the Blue Sea of Ibrox.

In addition to that, the appointment of Martin O’Neill has them throwing the towel in already.

Röhl loses one game, and the pressure will be on.

The angst and the misery is a sight to behold.

Let’s ruin this c***’s legacy?

You can’t ruin a legacy that is totally intact.

It doesn’t matter what Martin O’Neill does from here on out, after last season’s unlikely double, his legacy is untouchable.

He will be forever remembered for what he achieved last season.

The season is two months away, and I’m already salivating at watching the meltdown go into overdrive.
