It appears that my article on the LIQUIDATION of Rangers 1872 yesterday hit a few nerves.

In fact, it hit a few thousand nerves by the looks of it.

The truth hurts, and if there’s one thing for certain, the Ibrox fans cannot handle the truth.

So, I’ll just leave this little reminder there for them of the day the media forgot their obligation to lie about their favourite club…

Unfortunately, none of those headlines can be erased from history.

Not one.

The Ibrox fans will try to convince you that Rangers 1872 never died, but the unfortunate reality is that they did.

The remains of the old club now reside in a file in Companies house.

Just in case anybody thinks they weren’t liquidated, below is an image of the letter appointing the liquidators.

The liquidation process concluded after more than a decade, and the company was formally dissolved on 17 October 2024

Now, for all of those Ibrox fans out there who find this hard to comprehend, the file explaining everything that happened to the previous club that played out of Ibrox is fully available on the Companies House website.

No amount of spin or bullshit can debunk these documents.

I have only included two of many documents which are concrete proof that Rangers 1872 was liquidated

Once again, for those hard of thinking in the Ibrox support, below is an explanation of what liquidated means.

I’ve highlighted it in blue just to make sure it’s as simple as possible to understand.

Liquidation is the formal legal process of closing a company, winding up its business operations, and selling off its assets to pay back creditors and distribute any remaining money to shareholders.

When a company enters liquidation, control is taken away from the directors and given to an independent professional known as a liquidator.

Once the process is complete, the company is removed from the official government registry and ceases to exist.

To complete this process for Rangers 1872, Malcolm Cohen and James Bernard Stephen of the professional services firm BDO LLP were appointed as the Joint Liquidators.

Once again, for those who cannot grasp this, you do not appoint liquidators unless you intend liquidating a company

So, to conclude, and I’ll also keep this as simple as possible, you CANNOT relegate a football club that has been liquidated.

It is physically impossible.

No matter how many times you lie to yourselves and say this didn’t happen, the unfortunate reality is that the file in Companies house begs to differ.

In fact, it doesn’t beg at all.

It just tells it like it is.

Rangers 1872 were liquidated, not relegated.

It really is that simple…
