Celtic Favourite Kyogo Furuhashi Begins New LA Galaxy Adventure
Former Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi has completed his move to LA Galaxy as he begins a fresh chapter in Major League Soccer.

Former Celtic favourite Kyogo Furuhashi has completed a permanent move to LA Galaxy from Birmingham City.
The 31-year-old striker will now begin a fresh chapter in Major League Soccer after a difficult season in England. Kyogo Furuhashi scored three goals in 31 appearances for Birmingham during the 2025–26 campaign.
However, Celtic supporters know exactly what he can produce when he feels confident, sharp and appreciated.
KYOGO FURUHASHI JOINS LA GALAXY
Kyogo has reportedly signed a contract that runs through the 2030–31 MLS season. He will occupy an international roster place, while the clubs have kept the transfer fee private.
The move should give him the chance to rediscover his best form. His intelligent movement, impressive pace and calm finishing made him one of Celtic’s most dangerous attackers.
He now joins an LA Galaxy forward line that also includes Marco Reus, Joseph Paintsil and João Klauss. Therefore, he should have plenty of quality around him as he settles into American football.
A CELTIC FAVOURITE FOREVER
Kyogo gave Celtic supporters countless special memories. He scored important goals, delivered in major matches and played with a smile that made him incredibly popular.
His time in England did not go as planned. Nevertheless, one difficult season should never overshadow everything he achieved at Celtic.
Hopefully, Kyogo Furuhashi enjoys his football again at LA Galaxy. He deserves the opportunity to rebuild his confidence and show everyone what he can still offer.
