Marcelo Saracchi won’t be returning to Celtic after completing a permanent move from Boca Juniors to Houston Dynamo.

The Uruguayan left-back has signed a three-year contract in MLS after Houston agreed a reported fee of around $1.25 million.

Whether Celtic were actively pursuing him or not, his transfer raises another familiar question.
