Brendan Rodgers has admitted that it is likely that Celtic will be active throughout deadline day, but did not identify specific transfer targets.
According to the Daily Star, Rodgers conceded that Celtic “won’t be overly busy’, but implied he had his eye on potential deals.
We won’t be overly busy. We know specifically what we want, so hopefully we can do that. We assess the squad to see if any guys can go out on loan and we would hope we could get at least another one in.

The Scottish side have added three new players to their ranks so far this transfer window, welcoming Oliver Burke, Timothy Weah and Vakoun Issouf Bayo to Celtic Park. Maryan Shved is also close to completing a move to the club.
Celtic have been linked with a late move for Borussia Dortmund full-back Jeremy Toljan, who could arrive before the deadline closes.
Rodgers’ side are interested in bolstering their ranks even further today, as they sit six points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, and hope to hold off title challenges from rivals Rangers, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen.
